FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
 Do you offer a half day program?
Yes. Our half day preschool programs are 3 ½ hours.
We offer a morning program, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
and an afternoon program 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Do you offer a full day program?
No. We are currently licensed for half day programs
and may offer a full day program in the future.
Do you offer part-time care?
Part-time care is available depending on full-time child enrolment.
Do you offer extended care?
Yes. Extended care is based on the needs of our families.
What age are you accepting at your licensed child care centre?
We are licensed for children from 2.5 years old to 5 years old.

Do you supply meals?
Yes. Organic snacks are provided for both morning
and afternoon programs. (See our Organic Healthy Snack Menu)
How many teachers do you have?
We have two full-time R.E.C.E. teachers and
one full-time B.Ed. Teacher, Owner & Director, Joanne Deidun-Roork.
What is your student/teacher ratio?
We have two classrooms. One classroom is licensed for 8 children to 1 teacher and the other classroom is licensed for 7 children to 1 teacher.
What is the maximum number of children at your centre?
Our maximum enrolment is 15 children for our morning preschool
program and 15 children for our afternoon preschool program.
Do you offer sibling discounts?
Yes. First child is enrolled at our regular rate, second child
will receive a 5% discount and third child will receive a 10% discount.
What activities do you provide?
Activities include language, math, science and the arts.
They are literacy-rich, age and developmentally appropriate,
with a focus on healthy living. All activities are guided by
Peel’ Best Start Program together with the Ministry of Education’s Kindergarten Curriculum. The 3 ½ hour morning and afternoon preschool programs consist of guided lessons in large and small groups, individual free exploration, one-on-one time with the teacher, daily outdoor physical activity, yoga and snack time.
