Building A School Community is when children, parents and staff work together as partners.

This begins with a common belief and understanding of how we treat each other and our view of the world. The basic foundation of our partnership is based on mutual respect, acceptance and compassion.

Children are like sponges and absorb every sound and action around them. It is the responsibility of the adults around them to model and teach respect, acceptance and compassion. As we instill this basic foundation in our children, we are providing them with the fundamental tools of good, responsible citizenship.

When parents and teachers work together and share their knowledge and understanding of a child’s growth and development, children are the benefactors of this partnership. At The Little Green Schoolhouse communication between home and school is imperative, so that together, informed decisions and strategies can be implemented for the social well-being and academic success of your child.
